Teenagers often have a bad attitude toward mathematics, saying things like “I don’t like math” or “I don’t get why we have to do it.”
This course is meant to help math teachers break this cycle and create a positive learning environment.
By connecting theoretical content to real-world experiences, teachers can greatly boost student motivation.
The main goal of this course is to provide secondary teachers with new ways to make math engaging and relevant.
Participants will learn how to use real-life examples, technology, social media, and interactive games to inspire their students.
The course attempts to show that subjects like geometry, statistics, probability, and equations are not only pertinent but also fun and critical in everyday life.
Participants will take part in a range of hands-on activities and cooperative games that will bring mathematical concepts to life.
Indeed, by integrating social media and technology into their lessons, participants will create interactive experiences, making their lessons more dynamic and engaging.
By the end of the course, participants will have learned online and offline strategies that relate mathematical theories to real-world situations.
Thus, they will be able to design interesting lessons that will help students develop a more positive attitude toward the subject.
