Description
School leaders are not only responsible for managing people and processes but also for representing their institutions in many different contexts.
They are often required to present activities, projects, or achievements in front of colleagues, parents, or wider audiences.
Their ability to communicate effectively can make a decisive difference. Yet many of them experience insecurity or lack sufficient preparation when it comes to public speaking.
This course is aimed at school principals who wish to strengthen their public speaking and presentation skills and to become more confident and effective communicators.
For this purpose, it will give practical guidelines and easy-to-use techniques designed to improve the way participants deliver messages, structure information, and connect with different audiences.
During the course, participants will explore the foundations of effective communications, practicing strategies to express and present information understandably and engagingly.
They will learn how to work on the use of voice, rhythm, and pauses, and how to manage time, space, and technology to support their message.
All of that while developing awareness of non-verbal communication, body language, and personal presence.
A strong focus will also be placed on practical applications: real-life scenarios and role-play exercises will allow participants to become familiar with rehearsing presentations, managing difficult audiences, and testing public speaking approaches in a safe environment.
Finally, peer feedback and group discussions will reinforce learning and provide a supportive atmosphere for growth.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to approach public speaking situations with greater clarity, confidence, and control, having acquired a practical set of tools and strategies to deal with nerves, use voice and body language effectively, and structure impactful presentations.
They will leave being able to represent their institutions with credibility, inspire calm and trust in their audience, and manage communication challenges successfully.
