Description
Schools are becoming more and more diverse.
Not only do they host students from various backgrounds, but it’s also common to find schools where teachers and staff speak at least three other languages.
Leadership in such a diverse setting means more than just management; it becomes an art. The art of connection, empathy, and balance!
This course is designed for principals, leaders, and school staff to gain deeper knowledge of the art of connection beyond existing structures.
By participating in this course, participants will gain a better understanding of how to celebrate diversity in schools where staff don’t share a common traditional holiday, not even the same calendar.
Participants will learn how to:
- Be active listeners;
- Create a happier environment through empathy and respect;
- Use technology to enhance communication.
The course offers a deep understanding of the topic through practical guided practice and scenario-based learning.
Each day, a challenging scenario will be presented to participants, and through discussions and real-time searching, they will work to find strategies.
By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of how to communicate their needs, understand others’ situations, and refine their awareness of others.
They will leave with practical strategies for creating an engaging, supportive school where everybody feels more comfortable.
