Description
If you want to refresh and practice your English in a focused way or, even better, if you’re finally considering taking an English language certification to assess new academic and professional opportunities and you’re aiming for a high score, this course offers the perfect preparation!
This cross-level course is built around the formats of the most recognized English language tests worldwide: IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
However, rather than treating them as a “stressful exam”, here they will be approached as practical and motivating tools to refine real English skills.
IELTS in particular, unlike many other exams, is a flexible, level-based test with no “pass or fail” result: it simply reflects your current level of English and can be taken whenever you feel ready (if you’re lucky enough, even in just a matter of a few days!).
Throughout the week, participants will work with authentic IELTS and TOEFL materials and will become familiar with the structure, task types, and evaluation criteria of all four skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
Each day will be focused on a different component of the exam, building toward a complete simulated test by the end of the week.
Participants will also receive personalized feedback, learning how to avoid common mistakes, and discover resources for ongoing self-study.
They will explore the rules, tips, examples, best practices, and practical strategies (e.g., to manage time, quickly understand questions, and organize answers) that define successful test-takers.
All of that in a course that will always leave space for questions, reflection, and shared practice, creating a low-pressure learning environment where participants can improve their English without anxiety.
By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of IELTS and TOEFL formats, greater confidence in using English across all skills, and a set of strategies ready to use for when “test day” finally comes.
