Description
Erasmus Accreditation offers our schools many possibilities for transformation on several levels.
It provides a means for ongoing professional development for the staff, increases the amount of internationalization, and supports the sharing of good practice across Europe.
Not only can it enhance the teaching and learning quality, but it also fosters the holistic experience of school life.
However, these benefits need a number of issues to be resolved in order to fulfill the potential of this opportunity.
The goal of this course is to address some of the shared issues faced by project managers and school leaders in executing their Erasmus Plan through the Erasmus accreditation.
Participants in the course will be guided, step by step, in addressing issues and finding solutions to common problems, including:
- Selecting and preparing participants for mobility;
- Allocating appropriate budgets;
- Identifying suitable courses abroad and ensuring the full utilization of their impact within the home institution;
- Managing the project comprehensively to ensure the entire school community benefits from it.
During the course, participants will work in groups, take part in engaging brainstorming sessions, and share best practices with their fellow colleagues.
The collaborative workshop will allow them to discover new ways to deal with common challenges, providing them with a solid toolbox to streamline project management, while also increasing the positive impact of the Erasmus accreditation on the school community.
By the end of the course, participants will return to their school with practical abilities, sound understanding, and a strategic mindset to make the most of the Erasmus Accreditation, thus boosting teaching quality, student outcomes, and school life.
