Description
Creativity is the driver of innovation and a key factor in the development of personal, professional, and social skills. Creativity can be utilized in various areas of education:
Entrepreneurship: creativity is crucial for developing innovative business ideas and solutions.
Volunteering: creativity can help find new ways to engage the community and address social issues.
Sustainable Development: creativity is important for creating sustainable solutions that contribute to environmental protection and social progress.
The course provides adult educators and social workers with insight into the domains of creative industries in education and ways to apply them to STEM fields, the humanities, and extracurricular activities.
The main objective of the course is to empower participants with new skills that will encourage their students and beneficiaries to develop a problem–solving approach and find creative solutions.
During the course, participants will take part in a series of workshops where practical examples will demonstrate the use of creative industries in the teaching process.
Some workshops will be related to the STEM field, some to student volunteer work, and some will connect heritage, ecology, and sustainable development.
By the end of the course, participants will have acquired new knowledge about creative industries and ways to integrate them into their educational and social work practices.
A creative approach to teaching and social work will result in enhancing entrepreneurial competencies among educators and students, increasing motivation for volunteering and participation in community initiatives, and strengthening awareness of sustainable development among individuals and the local community.

Tentative schedule
Day 1 – Introduction to the course
Introduction to the course, the school, and the external week activities;
Icebreaker activities;
Presentations of the participants’ schools.
Day 2 – Creativity and creative industries in education
AI + AR = Problem Solving: how to detect a problem in school or the local community and find a creative solution;
European Rules: Gamification of the teaching process with the aim of creating added value and a lasting product.
Day 3 – Why volunteer?
Fell the Look: a unique approach to hairdressing for blind and partially sighted individuals – student involvement in volunteer work and engagement with the disabled;
ChauffeurMe: how to develop an App to address traffic safety concerns within the local community;
Hunt for the Creative Treasure of the City: City Walk with given guidelines.
Day 4 – Sustainability through gastronomy, ecology, and flora
How it used to be done: reviving forgotten crafts for sustainable development;
Story as a brand: how to connect digital storytelling with the gastronomic offerings of the local community or with the preservation of cultural heritage;
Mythology TO GO: an application designed for rural tourism.
Day 5 – The language of advertising and guerrilla marketing
Guerilla marketing: how to create a good advertising campaign for your product, a call for volunteering, and an involvement in an ecological action.
Day 6 – Course closure and cultural activities
Course evaluation: round-up of acquired competencies, feedback, and discussion;
