Description

Finding inspiration for producing engaging and attractive CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) content using cultural material can be challenging at times.

As educators, we need the opportunity to be inspired by exploring new cultural settings and exchange with other teachers to create new and refreshing material for you and your students.

This immersive experience will empower educators to inspire their students with a deeper understanding of the language (English) and the rich cultural heritage of Paris.

This course will refresh the basics of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and put them into practice with Paris as context for content. No matter which subjects you teach, you will find something that grabs your imagination during our excursions, class discussions, and hands-on activities.

This course takes an exciting, multidisciplinary approach to understanding CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology, immersing participants in the dynamic connection between teaching academic or subject-specific content and fostering language acquisition.

Through hands-on, lively workshops, participants will discover how the principles of CLIL can transform their own classroom practice.

Participants will return to their school with new material, inspiration, and ideas based on the many exchanges, conversations, and exciting new perspectives experienced in Paris as well as feeling more confident in teaching their subjects using the CLIL method.

Participants will also leave Paris having gained a deeper understanding of the history, people, and landmarks that make Paris a truly unique city with a rich and captivating past and present.

*We recommend that you already have some previous experience in working with CLIL.
